The surroundings expect you [a manager] to regularly log on. Disconnecting quickly is necesary in order to survive as a human being.
Erling Paulsen, the CEO of Rubberduck Medialab, recently claimed this in Dagens Næringsliv, a Norwegian business newspaper. I believe his point of view is spot on for today’s managers.
